Tournament:

The 2018 ISPS ALLIGATOR ALLEY CHALLENGE NAPLES Championships (www.ISPSSoftball.com)

 

Date:

April 14 - 15, 2018 (Saturday and Sunday) NOTE: Depending on Number of Teams participating, this could turn into a 2-day event.

 

Location:

North Collier Regional Park and other venues

 

Teams:

It is estimated that 20 to 40 teams from throughout the World will be attending to compete in the ISPS ALLIGATOR ALLEY CHALLENGE Championship in their division.

 

Ticket Prices: Admission to all venues is FREE.

 

Parking:

No charge for parking, adequate parking is available at the parks.

 

Managers Meeting:

A Managers Check-In will be on Friday night, April 13th, 7:00 pm, Location: TBD. A representative should check-in their team and pick up tournament information. ISPS Staff will be available to discuss the event and answer questions (no formal meeting).

Team Check-in:

Saturday 30 minutes BEFORE play at the ballpark, teams check-in together. Photo IDs (drivers license) are needed for the player check-in and should be with players at all times.

 

Tournament Seeding:

The tournament staff will place the teams in brackets and prepare the preliminary schedule which will be posted on the website approximately two days prior to the tournament. It is the responsibility of the Team Manager to know each team player's rank and classification. If clarification is needed, please contact ISPS staff prior to the release of game-times. The exact format will depend on the number of teams in each division. Once game-times are posted, teams are responsible to show up and play. Failure to play or NO-SHOW will result in FULL TEAM SUSPENSION until FULL Entry Fee is Paid.

 

First Game: April 14, the games may begin at 8:00 AM on Saturday at each venue.

Most divisions will end on Saturday evening and the Awards Ceremony will immediately follow the final game. (Some bigger divisions could conclude on Sunday)

Payment Deadline:

Complete Online Team Manager Registration now and pay Entry Fee by FIRST GAME April 14, 2018 (Exceptions only for the benefit of the tournament.)

 

Rosters Due: The ISPS Online Rosters must be submitted by April 12. The printable roster form with player signatures should be turned in at the team check-in. Team Managers should print the Team Roster from the website, but ISPS staff will have on hand at the event. Team Managers should also print out Team Line-Up Sheets.

 

Divisions of Play:

Teams will be placed in skill level divisions based on their ISPS Rating and verified by the tournament staff.

Divisions are planned for REC, Bronze, Silver & Gold for Men's Divisions.

Divisions are planned for Bronze, Silver & Gold for CoED Divisions. Divisions are planned for Bronze, Silver & Gold for Women's Divisions.

Divisions could be combined with Equalizers.

 

Fees:

The entry fee for all classifications is $300.00.

 

Souvenirs:

Tournament Shirts and other apparel will be for sale at each venue. Other merchandise and equipment will also be available at the tournament.
